Under HyperDoc Topics --> Calculus --> Series

I found the example confusing at first. I think it should begin with:

 (1) -> S := series 'n

So that the series looks more like the S_n I see in my Calculus textbook:

  S = \Sigma_{n = 1}^{\infty}{a_n}

  S_n = \Sigma_{k = 1}^{n}{a_k}

  lim_{n \rightarrow \infty} S_n = S

misunderstanding of the series operation --kratt6, Thu, 15 Dec 2005 03:51:10 -0600 reply
