I run axiom -noht in a xterm, and make a plot : draw (x^2, x=0..1) then I close the plot window in X11 and get the warning in the axiom xterm:

  *** glibc detected *** free(): invalid pointer: 0x0805209c ***

Sorry, I forget :
what operating system/version are you running? --tim

Linux version 2.6.12-1-386 (horms@tabatha.lab.ultramonkey.org) (gcc version 4.0.2 20050917 (prerelease) (Debian 4.0.1-8)) #1 Tue Sep 27 12:41:08 JST 2005

Is it fixed in Fricas? --alfredo, Thu, 20 Dec 2007 11:49:41 -0800 reply
I still can reproduce this in latest Fricas. Martin do you get the same behavior?

It should be fixed in FriCAS revision 152. I have no idea, but possibly you need to do a clean rebuild?

Confirmed fixed in Fricas --alfredo, Sat, 22 Dec 2007 10:38:30 -0800 reply
Martin, yes a clean rebuild worked.
